General description
Voluntary Milking Performance is an application that helps you follow up and monitor your herd milk harvesting performance. It is available within DeLaval Plus Analyses and accessible through the DeLaval Plus portal.
Voluntary Milking Performance compares 24-hour periods with 7-day averages in the following areas:
Performance Tracking: The application provides you with comprehensive metrics on your VMS and milking efficiency, and well as your cows adaptability. Each is scored on a scale of 0-100 (where more is better).
Multi-level Monitoring: You can analyse performance at the herd, individual cow, and milking robot levels.
Early Issue Detection: This tool supports you to make proactive management decisions by highlighting potential problems affecting your milk harvesting.
Adaptability Focus: Fresh cows in their first 30 days of lactation receive special attention to lead them to a smooth transition into the milking routine.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): The application tracks various KPIs. For example: average yield, milking frequency or milking duration. The results from that tracking provide a holistic view of the milking operation.
