Cell count page

The Cell Count page shows data from the Milk Cell Analysis (MCA). It includes three key performance indicators (KPIs). Below, some charts display the number of cows with high cell counts and the daily average cell count for the herd.

The info bar shows the number of cows that have been sampled in the selected time period, the number of cows that have not been sampled in the time period and the number of days until the next sampling on all cows.

The bar chart displays the number of cows with cell count samples above a certain threshold on the dates shown on the X-axis. This threshold is set in Delpro FarmManager, and the chart will follow the current setting.

For a cow to be included in this chart, it must have at least two consecutive cell count samples above the threshold within a maximum period of 40 days. The second of these measurements should have been taken within the selected time period. This requirement aligns with the calculation of the KPI Cows above 200*1000 cells/ml.

A cow is included in a bar on the days when its second consecutive measurement above the threshold is taken.

If short time periods are selected (7 or 30 days), the number of cows with cell counts above the threshold will be visualized for each calendar day. If longer time periods are selected (6 or 12 months), the number will be visualized per calendar month.

The bars are color-coded based on lactation number. There is a filter option at the top of the graph where you can select between lactation 1, 2, and 3+.
