To get a comprehensive overview of important voluntary milking KPIs, we present the following table. Here, you find KPIs calculated across the average, 90 days, 30 days, last week, last 24 hours and today.

The following KPIs are presented to you:

Average time per milking (mm: ss) - the average time needed for one milking
Average yield per milking (kg) - the average milk yield per milking. The optimal value is 12-15 kg per milking
Average incomplete per milking station (%) - the average percentage of incomplete milkings per VMS. It informs you to check the condition of the VMS and udder health conditions
Average kick-offs per milking station (%) - the percentage of kick-offs informs you to check the condition of VMS and udder health conditions
Average harvest flow (kg/min) - the average harvesting flow of a particular herd (calculated as total yield divided by total milking time). It is correlated to genetics, vacuum level and ease of cleaning and attaching the milking cups to their teats. Cows with a milk flow below 2 kg/min are less efficient.
Total milking time (hh:mm: ss) - the average of the entire milking time per milking station
Average total yield (kg). Presents the average yield per cow for a particular day
Average nr of milkings per day - average number of milkings per cow per day.
